Aimee Carpenter

CEO + Owner

Role on the Team

Aimee leads the company with a strategic vision rooted in sustainable growth and exceptional customer experience. She takes on many roles, driving the continuous improvement of Solterra’s processes, team, and technology.

With over 15 years of experience in the solar industry, Aimee expertly guides her team through the “solarcoaster”—the ever-changing landscape of economies, policies, and administrations—always keeping an eye on future opportunities that position both the company and its clients for lasting success.

“I LOVE this industry. Sustainability fuels my passion, and running a company that creates meaningful change for our team, clients, and community is what keeps me going. The technology already exists to disrupt the status quo; we’re here to be a reliable and honest leader in an industry teeming with misinformation.”

Industry Experience

After several years working in the construction industry, Aimee joined the solar industry in 2009 as a solar design consultant. Her career quickly evolved to include roles such as sales and marketing manager at Solterra before she took ownership of the company in 2018.

Outside of Work

Aimee is an animal lover with two rescue cats and goats, a traveler, mezcal margarita enthusiast, and proud e-bike and EV owner who embodies the sustainable lifestyle she champions.
